The concept of justice is central to the Islamic worldview, and one of the most comforting and powerful affirmations in the Qur’an is that “Allah is not unjust”. This statement not only defines Allah’s divine nature but also lays the foundation for a believer’s trust, patience, and hope in times of trial. In Arabic, the word “Zulm” (ظلم) is used to denote injustice, oppression, or wrongdoing. Allah repeatedly negates this quality from Himself in the Qur’an, emphasizing that He never commits any form of zulm, nor does He wrong His creation in any way.
