The new term of the Parliament will commence with an opening ceremony next week on May 23rd.
The Prime Minister gave the confirmation on Wednesday, and one of the first orders of business for the House of Representatives could be a debate regarding the leadership of the Police Service.
But for now, the Homeland Security Minister says the Acting Police Commissioner will stay on the job.
