Quelque temps après ce dîner, Spielberg dira à son amie la productrice Julia Phillips cette phrase concernant sa conquête : « I met a real dealbreaker ! », que l'on peut librement traduire ainsi : « Avec Amy, c'est du sérieux ! ».
