Michael Behe champions intelligent design (ID). Behe doesn't believe that "random mutation" can explain biological evolution. For example, he believes that the bacterial flagellum (tail) can't be explained by evolution alone.

John Long asserts that selection pressure drove the evolution of vertebrae as opposed to one God (male deity) championed by self-professed Christian Michael Behe. DNA polymerase makes copies of DNA. RNA is made of a sugar called ribose (with 5 carbons). Threose nucleic acid (TNA) [with 4 carbons] is simpler than ribose.
