Wild weather causes more than a thousand calls for help in Victoria

Wild winds have lashed parts of Victoria bringing down trees and causing large-scale power outages. Gusts of more than 100 kilometres an hour were recorded in some areas, and the state emergency service received more than a thousand calls for help.
