उत्तराखंड में लगातार हो रही मूसलाधार बारिश से खेतों और सड़कों में पानी भर गया है, जिससे जनजीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हो गया है और किसानों की फसलें भी बर्बाद हो रही हैं। वहीं दूसरी ओर, पहाड़ी इलाकों की बारिश और हथिनी कुंड बैराज से छोड़े गए पानी के कारण दिल्ली में यमुना नदी का जलस्तर तेजी से बढ़ रहा है और खतरे के निशान को पार करने की कगार पर है। प्रशासन ने बाढ़ की आशंका को देखते हुए अलर्ट जारी कर दिया है।
