Delhi Contemporary Art Week hosted its 8th edition at Bikaner House through a collaborative initiative of six prominent Delhi-based galleries—Blueprint 12, Exhibit 320, Gallery Espace, Latitude 28, Shrine Empire, and Vadehra Art Gallery. The exhibition spotlighted six contemporary Indian voices who explored themes of migration, memory, labour, environment, and religion through sculpture, photography, and traditional paintings.
Each gallery presented distinct curatorial approaches addressing contemporary socio-political issues. Latitude 28’s 'In-Between / Beyond' featured seventeen artists discussing social practices and belonging, while Exhibit 320’s 'Where The Dust Settles' examined labour and migration through installations. Blueprint 12’s 'Mapping The Margin' explored memory through textile and photography. Gallery Espace focused on worker motifs and farming practices, Shrine Empire engaged with ecology and community erasure, and Vadehra Art Gallery’s 'Intimacy / Ecstasy' addressed social boundaries. The exhibition included regular talks, workshops, and guided walkthroughs for public engagement throughout its duration.
