The first day of the festival.. brought the sights, sounds, and spirit of Trinidad and Tobago.. to Nathan Phillips Square in downtown Toronto.
Hosted by the Toronto Consulate in collaboration with the National Carnival Commission.., the celebrations were led by NCC's newly appointed deputy chairman -Kevan Gibbs.., Tobago's Secretary of Tourism and Culture -Tashia Grace Burris.., TUCO, and other cultural stakeholders.
