Pre-events for this year's Semicon are underway in Taipei, with industry leaders laying out themes that include Taiwan’s role in AI, advanced packaging and memory — even as geopolitics takes center stage. Organizers say more than 1,200 companies will attend and they expect roughly 100,000 visitors at this year’s show.
