Special forces of Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) struck the Russian multifunctional vessel MPSV07 “Spasatel Demidov” with a Ukrainian combat drone.
The attack took place on 10 September 2025, in the Bay of Novorossiysk, a strategic location for the remnants of the Black Sea Fleet.
The drone hit directly the command bridge, destroying navigation and electronic reconnaissance (RER) systems.
With an estimated cost of $60 million, the vessel was put out of operation and will require expensive repairs.
