WHALE SPLASHING WATER ON PEOPLE

Watch this exciting video of a humpback whale swimming by a boat of tourists as they shriek in glee when it splashes water on the onlookers.
André Soller, a sailor, thought it would be another regular whale watching session off the shore of Ilhabela, Brazil, with a group of patrons on board, when he realised he is in for a pleasant surprise.
They didn’t just watch a whale breach the water from a distance, but experienced it interacting with the people by smacking its flippers on the water and splashing water on the people on board.
Humpback whales are known to occasionally interact with people through curious and playful behaviours, such as approaching boats, diving near swimmers, or blowing bubble rings.
André from São Paulo, Brazil, said: “It was such a delightful yet surreal experience.
“Whales are such playful, intelligent creatures, and to spend even a few minutes in the company of one is an unforgettable experience.
“When nature expresses itself in that way, you can't help but get emotional.
“All I can say is, thank you, your majesty. What an honour to experience this.”
