Leh Ladakh protest : लद्दाख के लेह शहर में आंदोलन हिंसक होने के बाद जलवायु कार्यकर्ता सोनम वांगचुक ने 15 दिन से जारी अपनी भूख हड़ताल खत्म कर दी. लद्दाख को राज्य का दर्जा देने और छठी अनुसूची के विस्तार की मांग को लेकर अनशन कर रहे वांगचुक ने हिंसा रोकने और शांति बनाए रखने की भी अपील की. पीटीआई के मुताबिक, हिंसक घटनाओं में 4 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है और 30 से ज्यादा घायल हैं. लेह हिंसा पर गृह मंत्रालय ने बुधवार रात बयान में कहा, 'सोनम वांगचुक ने अपने भड़काऊ बयानों से भीड़ को उकसाया,
Leh, Ladakh protests: After violence erupted in Leh, Ladakh, climate activist Sonam Wangchuk ended his 15-day hunger strike. Wangchuk, who was protesting for statehood for Ladakh and the extension of the Sixth Schedule, also appealed for an end to the violence and urged people to maintain peace. According to PTI, four people have died and more than 30 have been injured in the violence. In a statement issued Wednesday night regarding the Leh violence, the Ministry of Home Affairs said, "Sonam Wangchuk incited the crowd with his provocative statements."
