'Opong'-affected residents in Masbate appeal for aid
Residents affected by Typhoon 'Opong' in Masbate City appeal for food, water and housing materials to rebuild their houses. Gov. Richard Kho declared Masbate under a state of calamity. Based on the report by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (PDRRMO), nine people died and 36,241 families or 126,186 persons in Masbate were affected.
