मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी अहिल्यानगर मधील प्रोटेस्टवर प्रतिक्रिया दिली आहे. त्यांनी काही ठिकाणी बोर्ड किंवा पोस्टर्स बसवण्याच्या अलीकडील प्रयत्नांवर चिंता व्यक्त केली आणि विचारले की या कृती पूर्वी लोकसभा निवडणुकीपूर्वी दिसलेल्या समाज विभागणीच्या प्रयत्नांसारख्या आहेत का? फडणवीस यांनी म्हटले की प्रत्येक नागरिकाने आपला धर्मपालनाचा हक्क सुरक्षितरीत्या पार पाडायला हवा आणि समाजात तणाव निर्माण होऊ नये. या प्रकरणाची चौकशी आणि योग्य ती खबरदारी घेणे आवश्यक आहे, असे त्यांनी सांगितले.
