UAAP: Bulldogs fortify Final Four bid
National University fortified its UAAP Season 88 men's basketball Final Four bid after fending off De La Salle University, 75-67, at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, November 2.
Draining timely baskets to put away the Green Archers, the Bulldogs likewise solidified its hold of the top spot with an 8-2 record.
Nash Enriquez and Paul Francisco pumped 16 and 14 points to lead NU which won its second straight and five of its last six games.
Omar John chipped 12 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks for the Bulldogs who ended the Green Archers' 4-game win run.
Jacob Cortez uncorked 16 points, four rebounds, and three assists for La Salle which dropped from second to third place with a 6-4 slate.
