Economy Minister Strikes Positive Tone for a Better US Trade Deal

Taiwan’s economy minister has expressed optimism over trade negotiations with the US, with an economic think tank saying the US tariff rate could be reduced from 20% to 15%, without stacking on top of existing rates.
