FAMILY SURPRISE LOCAL HERO A HEARTWARMING GIFT

A family decided to celebrate a hardworking local hero in the most meaningful way - by gifting him two pairs of trainers.
Melissa Pfeister from California, USA shared the heartfelt moment with Victor, an almost 80-year-old man.
Victor has worked as a trash and dish cleaner at their local Le Pain Quotidien restaurant for over twenty years.
Victor takes two to three buses for nearly two hours each day and has apparently never once been late.
Melissa says he never complains and greets everyone with kindness.
Wanting to teach her children the value of gratitude, empathy and giving back Melissa brought her six- and eight-year-old along to give Victor two pairs of Nike shoes.
One pair for work and one fun pair just for him.
Melissa said : “The greatest gift is giving a gift to others, especially to an amazingly wonderful hard working man like Victor.”
“Find your Victor and do something kind for them.”
