Ombudsman 'investigating every angle' on Romualdez, Co links to flood control scam
Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla, on the sidelines of the Stratbase Pilipinas Summit 2025 in Makati on Nov. 21, 2025, says that they are 'investigating every possible angle' on the involvement of former Speaker Martin Romualdez in the flood control scandal after the Department of Public Works and Highways and the Independent Commission for Infrastructure recommended the filing of plunder, graft, and direct bribery charges against the Leyte lawmaker and former Ako Bicol Partylist representative Elizaldy Co.
