Surge in Chinese Aircraft and Ships Detected Near Taiwan

Taiwan's defense ministry says it detected 40 Chinese military aircraft and eight naval vessels operating near the country in the 24 hours prior to Thursday morning. The surge in activity comes as Taiwan announces a new arms deal with the US.
