Rains will continue to affect parts of the country despite the absence of any low-pressure area (LPA), as the northeast monsoon or “amihan” and the easterlies remain the dominant weather systems, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Sunday, Dec. 28.
