Ricky Gervais snubbing Golden Globes despite being nominated because it's 'too far to go'

Comedian Ricky Gervais has admitted he's going to skip the Golden Globes ceremony next month despite being nominated for an award because it's "too far to go" and he'd prefer to stay at home with his girlfriend Jane Fallon and their cat.
