Clark MP Helen Burnet quits Greens to become a Tasmanian independent

One of Tasmania's five state Greens MP’s, Helen Burnet, is moving to the cross-bench to sit as an independent. The shock decision has blindsided her former party, which claims she had never before raised the possibility of leaving.
