As effective as gentle parenting can be, it doesn’t always work, and this video is a perfect example of that.
"I was soaking, and he (my son) brought his plate in, saying he didn’t want it," the filmer, Shanequa, told WooGlobe. "I kept saying, 'Okay, put it on the counter and go watch TV.' But he kept fumbling with the plate and playing with it, so I had to repeat myself several times."
When Shanequa’s calm approach fails to work, she raises her voice, and her little one immediately drops everything and goes to watch TV.
