The Seamen and Waterfront Workers Trade Union has taken up the plight of around 39 casino workers who are on the breadline.
It comes with the closure of Xante Private Members Club.
The SWWTU is accusing the owners of the casino of treating the staff unfairly, relating to their severance benefits, and it is calling on the intervention of the government.
