Connections: - Tower Of Evil director Jim O'Connolly later worked on '73 comedy Mistress Pamela. The score for the film was composed by David Whitaker who worked with the Rolling Stones & Producer Andrew Loog Oldham. The Andrew Oldham Orchestra was a musical side project of his in the mid '60's. A 1966 orchestral version of The Rolling Stones' "The Last Time", written for the instrumental album The Rolling Stones Songbook featured a distinctive passage for strings arranged by Whitaker and written by Keith Richards & Mick Jagger. In the 1990's a copyright dispute developed around "The Last Time" when it was apparently sampled by English rock band the Verve in their hit song "Bitter Sweet Symphony".
