Thomas provided WooGlobe with gripping footage capturing his view of the tragic crash of UPS Airlines Flight 2976.
The cargo plane, which was headed from Louisville, Kentucky, to Honolulu, Hawai‘i, took off after suffering a separation of its left engine and ended up crashing almost immediately, destroying part of a nearby industrial area.
The filmer can be heard expressing concern about the casualties of the harrowing incident, and he was right to worry. It has been reported that, in addition to all three crew members aboard the plane, 11 people lost their lives in the crash.
