The cost of parking in Liverpool city centre is expected to rise later this year under proposals due to be unveiled by the city council. As part of its annual review of fees and charges, Liverpool Council is considering increasing on-street parking costs by up to 20 per cent in some areas. It follows confirmation last year that free parking after 6pm would be scrapped.
