Devotees hold Walk with Mary in Cebu
Thousands of devotees fill the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu as the Traslación Mass commences following the Walk with Mary on Jan. 15, 2026. The image of Our Lady of Guadalupe from the Archdiocesan Shrine met the Señor Santo Niño at Fuente Osmeña Circle, marking the start of the procession to the Basilica and drawing hundreds of faithful along the route, which started at around 4 a.m. This year, the Walk with Mary images will stay overnight at the National Shrine of St. Joseph in Mandaue City, allowing more devotees from neighboring towns to venerate the Sagrada Familia.
