On Friday, November 7th, around 5:50 PM, a man was suspected of stealing a woman’s phone at Grand Indonesia Mall.
When the woman realized her phone was missing and shouted for help, the pickpocket tried to escape by jumping from the ground floor to the lower ground level. The loud thud from his fall drew attention and caused quite a commotion among visitors.
"The suspect was soon caught by mall security and handed over to the police," the filmer, Tiara, told WooGlobe. "However, while being escorted out of the mall, one of the visitors who witnessed the incident could not contain his anger and tried to punch the thief. Unfortunately, the punch missed, and the man ended up falling instead, briefly adding to the chaos.
"Upon rewatching the video, many found that moment unexpectedly funny."
