"While taking a walk, we heard that a whale was swimming in shallow water in Pentewan Sands in Cornwall," the filmer, Lucy, wrote online. "I walked down to the beach and discovered a newborn fin whale struggling on its side.
"Several experts were nearby trying to help the animal and keep it comfortable. I took the video as it was such an unusual sight and also because it highlighted human compassion and perseverance."
