Filipina tennis sensation Alex Eala will play her first WTA 125 event on home soil and will face Alina Charaeva of Russia in the 2026 Philippine Women’s Open at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center in Malate, Manila on Jan. 26, 2026. Eala said she was still grasping about her impact on Filipinos as she thinks the Philippines more of her home.
