A 13-year-old Perth boy is being hailed a hero after swimming four hours through choppy water to save his family when they were swept out to sea. The family's holiday had turned into a nightmare on Friday when the young teen's effort raised the alarm and triggered a massive search and rescue effort off Quindalup 250 kilometres south of Perth.
