Sabrina Burlando from Arizona, USA speaks candidly about growing up without the muscle needed to blink, requiring surgery at just three years old to allow her eyes to function.
She explains how the condition has affected her appearance and how she must move her eyebrows in order to blink.
Sabrina opens up about the emotional impact of the condition, including being teased throughout school and feeling deep anxiety.
She recounts a painful experience from her teenage years when a manager allegedly spread false information about her appearance, an incident that she says deeply affected her confidence.
By speaking openly, Sabrina hopes to reach others living with ptosis and remind them they are not alone.
The video was shared online, where viewers praised her vulnerability.
She said: "I like to explain a little about congenital ptosis, and what it has been like for me to have this condition. I share some of the struggles I have had.
