A mischievous army of Labubus sets off a wild chain reaction, ending in a 24-karat gold surprise.
Steven Price, from Michigan, USA, founder of Sprice Machines, created the elaborate “Labubu Rube Goldbubu” after drawing inspiration from his wife’s growing collection of the popular Pop Mart characters.
The intricate build features a complex chain reaction sequence packed with playful references to Labubu lore. From a shopping cart crash that topples milk crates and sets a marble rolling, to spinning chess boards, flipping heart dominoes, tumbling paint cans and a K’nex-powered TikTok scroller, each carefully timed moment triggers the next in a seamless cascade of quirky physics and creative engineering.
The machine culminates in a dramatic reveal, as a shipping crate opens to unveil a glittering 24-karat gold Labubu figure.
Sprice Machines plans and builds custom chain reaction and domino projects for advertisements, TV and film, online content and live events, working alongside production agencies to design builds tailored to clients’ objectives.
Steven said:“My wife was collecting them all year last year and I thought it would be a fun theme for a machine that Pop Mart fans would really enjoy.
“I was recently refreshing my Labubu lore and I found out that Labubus are curious and clumsy creatures that love to explore the world around them and create chaos.
"I thought that sounds like a perfect fit for the storyline of an epic chain reaction machine.”
