Following an argument at a summer barbecue in Fulchester, a lady guest, Mrs Lawler, is injured by the hostess, Mrs Blandford, with a heated kebab skewer. Mrs Blandford stands accused of malicious wounding.
Within These Walls fans will see a couple of familiar faces here: Elaine Wells (Meg Spencer in WTW) plays the defendant. Anne Rutter (Officer Martin in The Slap) plays Margaret Lawler. Mark Eden, known as Alan Bradley in Coronation Street and Marco Polo in Doctor Who, also appears.
