Volunteer firefighters and landowners in WA's south east are calling for an independent investigation into how the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is managing its parks and reserves. It comes after two massive bushfires in the Fitzgerald National Park and the Dunn Rock Reserve threatened properties and cost millions of dollars to bring under control.
