House holds first public consultation on anti-dynasty bills
The House of Representatives' Committee on Electoral Suffrage holds its first public consultation on the proposed anti-dynasty bills at the Carsigma Gym in Carmona City, Cavite on Feb. 12, 2026. Speaking to reporters at a press briefing after the consultation, Lanao del Sur Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong, committee chairman, said that it would only be a matter of time before an anti-political dynasty measure would be passed despite the objections.
