A group met for coffee to connect with a music publicist and his visiting mother. While chatting inside, they noticed flooding outside rapidly worsening until water began entering the shop. The barista assured them it was under control. Later, when one of their dads retrieved their car, they discovered it had been flooded. Although it initially ran, the car stopped after a few minutes, but a system reset quickly restored it to working order.
