An Israeli drone strike targeted the Ain al‑Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp in the city of Saida, leaving a preliminary toll of two dead and several wounded. The attack struck the Hattin neighborhood just an hour before iftar, when residents were preparing to break their fast during Ramadan. Following the bombing, continuous drone overflights were reported over Saida and surrounding areas, generating panic among residents. Local authorities denounced the aggression as a direct violation of the ceasefire agreement in place since November 2024 and of United Nations Resolution 1701.
