Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Oren Marmorstein said a Filipina caregiver was killed in an Iranian missile strike on Saturday evening.
Speaking outside the damaged building on Sunday, Marmorstein said the caregiver succumbed to injuries sustained in the attack.
“We had elderly people in this building,” he told reporters. “One of them was an elderly woman who lived with a Philippine caregiver. The Iranian regime’s ballistic missiles killed this Philippine caregiver.”
Iran launched missiles at targets in Israel and Gulf Arab states following its vow of massive retaliation over the reported killing of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in a joint United States-Israel attack.
