महाराष्ट्राच्या मतदार यादीबाबत मोठा दावा समोर आला आहे. भाजप नेते किरिट सोमय्या यांनी म्हटलं आहे की, राज्याच्या मतदार यादीत तब्बल ५० लाख संशयित नावे आढळली आहेत. सोमय्या यांनी सांगितलं की, महाराष्ट्रातील १५० आमदारांसोबत विशेष बैठक घेण्यात आली असून, मतदार यादीच्या शुद्धीकरण मोहिमेची सुरुवात करण्यात आली आहे.
तसेच, “एकही बांगलादेशी मतदार यादीत राहणार नाही” असा इशाराही सोमय्या यांनी दिला आहे. संशयित नावांची यादी निवडणूक आयोगाकडे देण्यात आली असून, आता पुढे काय कारवाई होते याकडे सर्वांचे लक्ष लागले आहे.
