France has dispatched its nuclear-powered aircraft carrier **Charles de Gaulle** to the Mediterranean region as tensions in the Middle East heighten. President Emmanuel Macron stated that this action aims to safeguard allied interests and enhance regional stability as the situation involving Iran, Israel, and local factions escalates.

French Rafale fighter jets, air-defense systems, and airborne radar units are already in place, with Macron confirming that French forces have intercepted drones in self-defense to secure allied airspace.

Although France maintains that it did not take part in the U.S. and Israeli strikes against Iran, it has expressed concerns regarding Iran's nuclear aspirations and its backing of militant groups in the area. Concurrently, Macron has cautioned Israel against broadening the conflict into Lebanon and has called for diplomatic efforts to avert a larger war.

As the crisis intensifies, France asserts its readiness to protect its allies while advocating for a peaceful resolution before the situation deteriorates further.
