In a major development, 130 Maoists surrendered along with their weapons in the presence of Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad.Among those who laid down arms were 3 State Committee members, 1 Regional Committee member, 10 Divisional Committee members, 46 Area Committee members, and 70 party members, marking one of the largest Maoist surrenders in recent years.The surrendered cadres handed over 124 weapons to the police, including AK-47 rifles, INSAS rifles, SLR rifles, .303 rifles, and an INSAS LMG rifle, highlighting the scale of the operation and the government’s ongoing efforts to curb Maoist activity in the region.
