Watch this clip where a ranch owner is forced to defend himself after his pet ostrich suddenly turns aggressive and charges at him.
Phillip Risalvato from San Antonio, Texas, USA, can be seen narrowly dodging a powerful kick from the large bird.
After gaining control for a moment, he releases the ostrich and makes a run for it as the bird chases after him across the ranch.
