Italian golf pro Andrea Pavan withdrew from the DP World Tour's Investec South African Open after suffering injuries in a freak elevator accident in Cape Town, South Africa. Matt Van Zandt, a former Texas A&M University teammate, said Pavan fell three stories down an open elevator shaft when the doors opened with no car present.
