देश भर में जारी एलपीजी सिलेंडर की कमी के बीच भारतवासियों के लिए अच्छी खबर यह है कि 45,000 मीट्रिक टन से अधिक द्रवीकृत पेट्रोलियम गैस ले जा रहा एलपीजी मालवाहक पोत 'शिवालिक' सोमवार को भारत पहुंच गया | अमेरिका-इजरायल युद्ध के बीच ईरान ने भारतीय झंडे वाले टैंकरों कोहोर्मुज स्ट्रेट से सुरक्षित रास्ता दिया है। भारतीय झंडे वाले एलपीजी टैंकर 'शिवालिक' ने सफलतापूर्वक इस स्ट्रेट को पार कर लिया है और अब दूसरा एलपीजी जहाज 'नंदा देवी' भी इस अहम तेल मार्ग से सुरक्षित बाहर निकल गया है। अधिकारियों ने तत्काल अनलोडिंग के लिए प्राथमिकता के आधार पर बंदरगाह की अनुमति दी।
