बीजेपी से नाराज बताए जा रहे वरुण गांधी की प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से मुलाकात ने सियासी हलचल तेज कर दी है। वरुण गांधी ने खुद इस मुलाकात की तस्वीर सोशल मीडिया पर साझा की, जिसमें उनकी पत्नी यामिनी रॉय गांधी और बेटी भी नजर आईं। लंबे समय से पार्टी से दूरी बनाए हुए इस गांधी परिवार की यह मुलाकात कई राजनीतिक संकेत दे रही है। पिछले लोकसभा चुनाव में वरुण गांधी का टिकट कट गया था, जबकि उनकी मां मेनका गांधी को भी हार का सामना करना पड़ा था। इसके बाद से ही उनके बीजेपी से रिश्तों में खटास की चर्चा थी। अब इस मुलाकात को उनकी संभावित वापसी और रिश्तों में सुधार के संकेत के तौर पर देखा जा रहा है। साथ ही, इसे आगामी पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा चुनाव से भी जोड़कर देखा जा रहा है, जहां उनका बंगाली कनेक्शन पार्टी के लिए अहम भूमिका निभा सकता है।
