Lester Martinez - Is a Guatemalan professional boxer. As an amateur, he won a Super Lightweight silver medal at the 2012 Youth World Championships and a Middleweight gold medal at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games. He began boxing at the age of twelve and won the schoolboy national championship in 2009. Martinez became the first Guatemalan boxer in 68 years to win gold at the Central American and Caribbean Games when he beat former World and Olympic champion Arlen López for the Middleweight crown in 2018. As a professional he currently holds an excellent record of 19-0 with 1 draw and 16 knockouts. His last fight was for the WBC interim Super-Middleweight championship against Christian Mbilli and resulted in a draw with many fans touting it as a late contender for fight of the year 2025. Martinez takes on Immanuwel Aleem on March 21st.
