Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch says she "stands by" her Shadow Cabinet Minister Nick Timothy, after comments he made about a Muslim prayer event in Trafalgar Square caused outrage among some. Nick Timothy said that a Muslim prayer event held earlier this week in central London, attended by London's Mayor Sadiq Khan, amounted to "an act of domination". Badenoch says: "If people want to have an event that is in accordance with very, very strict values that are not necessarily the values of the population, then go do it in a mosque, not in Trafalgar Square".
