Bishop urges Congress to revisit RH law
A Catholic bishop on March 25, 2026 urges Congress to revisit the Reproductive Health (RH) law, claiming it will pave the way for abortion. In a press conference led by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines and the Guadalupe Pilgrimage Committee in Manila ahead of the scheduled visit of the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Kidapawan Bishop Jose Colin Bagaforo told _The Manila Times_ that the church upheld its stance on 'the sacredness of life,' stressing that Philippine laws should uphold this principle. The Reproductive Health Law was enacted in 2012 and has since faced opposition from the Catholic Church.
